Hydrosols-What are they and how to use them?

Hydrosols are the aromatic byproduct of the essential oil creation process. They are also called floral waters, distillate waters, flower waters, hydrolates and aromatic waters. Hydrosols are generally less concentrated than essential oils but have similar properties. They are gentler than essential oils and can be used to make homemade skin care products such as face mists, toners and deodorants. The best part about hydrosols is that you can use them on your whole body including your hair!
