Apricot Oil

Apricot oil is extracted from the kernels of apricots. It unites both drying and emollient properties, with high levels of oleic fatty acid. This makes it a good choice for dry, stressed skin types. Apricots are rich in vitamin A, which helps to promote cell renewal while protecting against oxidation and premature aging. They also contain vitamin C, which has anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce redness, improve congested skin and prevent scarring.

Caution

Carrier oils make the usage of essential oils, safe when combined together. One needs to take care that it is not applied to lips, eyes, or any sensitive areas. Moreover, a patch test should be performed to check for any kind of allergic reaction.
