  • In a diffuser: Place a few drops of an essential oil with properties that help reduce inflammation (such as lavender or peppermint) in your room's humidifier or diffuser, and let it run for 10 minutes or so before bedtime.

  • On your pillow: Rub a few drops of diluted oil (such as lavender or peppermint) on the back of your neck, forehead, and temples. 

  • Inhalation: Put a drop of essential oil on a tissue or piece of cotton and place it close to your nose so that you can inhale its vapors.
